Your credit card account application allows you to request the transfer of balances from up to two (2) credit card accounts or other types of loans from other creditors. The total value of balance transfer requests cannot exceed your credit limit. If the amount is greater than your approved credit limit, then upon account approval we will send either full or partial payment to your creditors in the order you list them. Allow at least two weeks for processing. Continue paying each creditor until your balance(s) have been transferred to your CHOICE REWARDS® credit card account.
After you are approved, you can call 1-800-561-7849, 24 hours a day, seven days a week to transfer as many loan balances from qualifying creditors as you like or make a deposit to a chequing account up to your credit available.
Yes. The total value of transfer requests (which includes a deposit to a chequing account) cannot exceed your credit available. In addition, balance transfers may not be used to pay off or pay down another account with CUETS Financial or any of its affiliates.
If your balance transfer request is received with your credit card account application, then your request(s) will generally be processed within two (2) weeks of your account opening. You should continue to make your monthly payments to each creditor until the requested balance transfer amount appears as a credit on that account.
